// About the company

Who we are

Geminus Sp. z o.o. is a Polish company operating since 2011, developing technologies in advanced carbon materials, adsorption, recycling and material recovery. The company combines its own technological facilities with cooperation with scientists and research institutions, working on solutions with applications in environmental protection, industry, transport, security and defence, among others.

One of the solutions under development is GemiC50 — a nanostructured carbon composite with thermal insulation, absorption and barrier properties. The material is lightweight, mechanically strong and formable, and ongoing research points to potential applications in aviation, UAV transport systems and radiation protection, among others. Geminus is also involved in work on carbon-silica materials for shielding electromagnetic interference and for stealth applications in the sub-terahertz band.

The second area of activity is environmental technologies. Geminus produces COCO-1000 activated carbon for adsorption and filtration and is developing a thermolysis technology for processing problematic waste such as tyres, polymers, photovoltaic panels and wind turbine blades. The company is also active in hazardous waste management and material recovery.

Products and services

GemiC50 — carbon nanocomposite

A lightweight, formable structural material with thermal insulation, absorption and barrier properties, developed for applications in aviation, transport, security and defence, among others.

EMI shielding and stealth materials

Development of carbon-silica materials for shielding electromagnetic interference and for stealth applications in the sub-terahertz band.

COCO-1000 — activated carbon

Granular activated carbon from coconut shells for filtering and adsorbing contaminants such as PFAS, hydrogen sulphide, mercury, ammonia and siloxanes.

Filtration and adsorption systems

Selection of adsorption materials and comprehensive analysis, installation and replacement of filter beds tailored to the type of contaminants being removed.

Thermolysis of post-industrial waste

An oxygen-free technology for processing organic and mixed waste, enabling the recovery of oil, gas and solid fractions and the reuse of the recovered raw materials.

Waste management and material recovery

Management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, controlled destruction and development of technologies for recovering raw materials from problematic waste streams.
